Normandy

Me and two mates did a quick trip to Normandy at the end of march 2011 and stayed here http://www.normandybeach.co.uk/index.htm

Run by Adrian and his wife, Brilliant hosts, excellent breakfasts from toast to full English plus fresh pastries and as much tea/coffee as you want.
Only a 5 min walk from the beach at Arromanche where they are several good restaurants.

Oh and the good bit last........ After your day exploring the area its beers on the house ,sitting round the table in the courtyard talking b*llsh1t as you do which is a brilliant way to finish the day .

Secure bike parking, locked gates and he has his own armoured car

Here's a good stop in the Black Forest, Germany.

This hotel is a member of the and they cater specifically to bikers - Hotel Waldblick. They are a member of the Motor Bike Hotel Group.

Just spent two nights there while riding some of the BF roads. Has a restaurant on site and garage parking if needed. Nice and comfortable clean rooms and Brigitte and her staff are wonderful!!

Andalucia

Hi There

Welcome to me on the site!

Anyway - we stayed at a place called Cuevas La Granja and it is a set of restored caves in Andalucia - each one has everything you need and I've linked the name if anybody wants to check prices or availability. We loved it. The price varies depending on time and length of booking but about 70 Euro a night.

Best Wishes

Cathy and Bernard

Question

Hi Bernard. I don't suppose you're the same Bernard we met in Turda, Romania in 2006 or the same Bernard I sometimes meet in Cracoe on the odd Sunday meeting????

Hi there - no, in 2006 I was still sensible and having to pay a mortgage before disappearing off into the sunset in 2008!

Chalet Pyrene has become our home away from home when riding in the French Alps. Not far from Briancon, and at the center of incredible riding, this place has reasonable prices, nice accommodations, a biker garage, and is walking distance from a good variety of restaurants. Check it out.

I have some from a recent trip

Fantastic site, very modern and clean. About 20 minutes drive to the Nurburgring.

Lovely site lying in the shadow of Mt Blanc. Can get busy though, mabey best to book ahead.

Located just outside Reims in the town of Epernay. Municipal site, i was 7 euro for the night, the toilets weren't the cleanest but couldn't argue for the price.

B & B in the Picos.

Just back from a week in northern Spain, mainly the Picos mountains.
Stayed in an excellent English run B & b 9kms. south of Potes " Pension La Pisa " In a hamlet by the name of Aniezo. Good food, drying room access to 10,000 hairpin bends !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would strongly recommend and they are used to Bikes & Bikers.

Regards to all on trips this summer.
