Those Arbors are sweet. My wife rides a Koa pin just like that. Hers has better grain though I'll have to dig up a picture of it. This is my Dogtown.

Great Thread!

Just dropped in, this may be 205:
Concrete Wave Magazine has a love of the Sport.

Their Buyers Guide gets more commercial each year, but all boards are not the same:

Are those the Revenge trucks?

Where can I get Dogtown longboards online?

I bought a land paddle Saturday. Tons of fun, but I'm sore as shit from using it all weekend. I'll try to get some video...

Man! That Arbor looks nice! I just looked 'em up, and that's quite expensive! Plus, I'm kind of hooked on picking up a pair of those Revenge trucks, and they're not able to be used with a drop-through deck, I was told... True?

I just cut down my old rigid kicktail 44" into a 37", so I think I just want a simple cruising deck for the Revenge trucks to use with the paddle...

Is there a recomended configuration/board setup for using with a paddle? I've been using my beater 37" and it's been fine. I'm getting a good soulful rhythm going!

Yup. Kahuna Big Stick, 65.5"

Those trucks on my beater board are original Independent 151's from the 1970's. I also have some old school (70's) Tracker trucks and some original Road Rider 6's(!)

My friend's son pieced together a skateboard for me as a gift. I'm old. I've been told by young family members who see it that it's the equivalent of a Pro Circuit Kawasaki 250F when using mx bikes as a comparison. I can't tell the diff between it and the ones I see on sale for $29 at major box stores.

Been in the corner of my garage for 2 years making me the ultimate skateboard poser! I'd sell it but it would crush the friend's son obviously.

I read your other thread on that, I got one from a garage sale when I was in 3rd grade. I promptly threw the trucks and metal wheels out and painted it.

I tired taking up skateboarding for the first time when I was 22, I ended up giving the board to my friend who was 100 times better at then I was. I kinda wanna try long boarding, but not in the current place I live.

Sure I still Skate, not as hard or as offend as I use to but I do it none the less.

This pictures are from our "Wedding dance" (Since we suck at real dancing)

What can I say she is always ahead.

To me Skating is the shit, But my body can not take the crashing anymore, So i'm learning how to Snowboard, that is somehow like a "Second best" thing.

Since you mentioned "crashing" and "learning how to snowboard," do you know about Dakine's Wrist Guard gloves? http://www.rei.com/product/807553

Good luck and have fun, Mark H.
