We don't have anything near that kind of grade here, looks like fun. Does his braking technique flat spot those wheels?

I get nervous driving either grade. I'd probably cry like a little girl if I peered over the side of old priest grade on a board.

Tho don't most old priests make boys cry?......

They're both fun, but (when riding the GS) I do prefer gliding through the turns on the newer grade... so many more curves, and less work on my brakes. Also easier to pass the slowpokes from Indiana in their CruiseAmerica RVs.

Similar to me being in Scotland, good boards were not easy to find. Reading thrasher with the pics of a zillion boards for dirt cheap drove us crazy
I went the new wave way with brand x, crazy fucking concave a v shaped concave tail, that thing could ollie by itself and only 8 years younger so I am too

I wish I had kept all of my older decks from the 80s. I'd have one heck of a wallhanger collection! Many are now available as re-issues, but it's not the same, and they are about $75 a pop now!

This was one of my "oddest" shapes: John Gibson by Alva. I still remember the day and the shop I got it from.

Back in the mid 80's, there used to be a big pink fiberglass covered ramp here in Little Rock that saw a lot of action from traveling pros, Jeff Phillips, Hosoi, Gator, Craig Johnson, etc... My last trip on that slippery beast resulted in a head slap hard enough to detach my retina. Stuck with street skating after that.
