Hey Slash!

That is a great looking touring setup you've got. How do you have that bottle/thermos holder on the side rigged up?

Are those the Happy Trails crash bars?

Recent paint job needed some sprucing up so we came up with this. It gets a lot of looks and comments from certain groups. Some even believe it.

Yea they are HT nerf bars. I found those Kleen Kanteen bottles (27 oz. each) & holders online, then used 3 heavy duty zip ties to attach one on each side. They have worked great and are amazingly resilent to falls . I can carry a full days supply of drinking water if need be. I tried all the bladder stuff, and for me this setup just works better. You can get the holders here http://www.greenfeet.com/itemdesc.as...-06555-0000&eq= and the bottles themselves almost anywhere!

Thats a KLR after market flotation device. You push a button when doing stream crossing and it inflate, like a life jacket for your bike...
