I was making a joke about the fact that the bike is camo and in a camo setting. Hence I couldn't see the bike.
I followed his thread when he did this camo KLR. It's saved to my favorites.
I'm not a redneck, but I see the beauty in these pictures and the bike.
He did a great job on it.

thanks guys! The entire work was done by keithm and I inherited it as the next owner, he did a great job customizing it. Sadly, he replaced it with a vespa...!

I've had my KLR for a while, but I didn't feel like I had an appropriate picture for this thread until today. I had to make a 250-mile round trip drive to collect the final drive unit for my K75, and a water pump and some coolant for my XR650R. I could drive my truck and burn up 12 gallons of gas, or I could find a milk crate and only use four gallons. Milk crate it is then.

I've had mine for a since 09 and I still can't find what I feel to be the perfect trunk,, I want it large enough to hold all my camping gear, water tight a back rest for 2 up And matches the bike in general. Thus the milk crate is as good an idea as any :)

APJ757, I think you'll find that the milk crate is the answer:

Large enough to hold camping gear (including hammock and cooler).
Water tight (if wrapped in enough duct tape).
Integrated back rest (if you zip-tie a piece of 3-inch thick foam to the front).
Matches the bike in general (spray paint it black).

Hey, I think we may have just developed a niche product for the KLR market! Contacting the patent office now...

That could really be workable with a water proof liner / water proof bag Might just be it.
