I actually bought a MRA Road Shiled for my XT. The problem is that, it creates turbulence in the lower part of the helmet or neck area. So at about 90km/h (50mph) it's pretty loud. If I put it higher then, th wind hits the upper part of the helmet, which fells like somebody is shaking your helmet at higher speeds.

If I could just put it a few cm lower. Been even thinking of cutting the shield... Maybe I will buy some white plexiglass, use the MRA fitting kit, and make my own windshiled. But I have no experience when it comes to shaping plexiglass...

I'm 179cm tall. Someone, who is 10cm taller/smaller than me, might have a totally different experience.
Maybe it wants to a different shape

Hi, I've currently pretty much finished prepping my 2003 XT600E for a trip to Morocco initially, you can see about it here

www.motorbiketravels.com

With a bit of luck, I'll be riding around Morocco in a couple of months.

TBH I've not had a chance to test them off road but they are a definite improvement on the road, much less harsh than the OEM springs, I've got front and rear BTW.

The bike definitely sags less when I sit on it now and feels stiffer - I'll be fitting some knobblies soon and taking it off road so will comment again then although unfortunately I never took it off road with the standard springs for a comparison.

If you have a look at http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hubb/ there's quite a few people's experiences with Hyperpro on there.

My was made from plexiglass (home made). At first, I was made a cardboard design, and bay some plaxi sheet. The craftman with specific tool (industrial heat gun) bend the plexi to desired shape. I think, you can do it all your self.

If you need more pictures with measurement details you just say.

EDIT: We are neighbors man. I can made it for you and sent it. PM me. ;)

PS. I have a hundreds of photos made on a enduro meeting from Serbija. Can I post it?

Maroog with what did you start? An A4 piece of plexiglass? Or was it bigger? I'll try to make my own :) Also what holds the plexiglass to the crawling/headlight? 3 screws? Maybe you could post a close-up picture of how the windscreen is attached.

How big is that acerbis tank? How's the fit and finish? Is the install pretty straight forward without any modifications? Looks massive in the pic, but I like it!

It is 23 liters and it bolts straight on and fits pretty well. The finish is not great but alright, I like it.

Here is another photo
