There's a set on ebay right now too, w/ a rear sprocket. Not mine, just noticed a huge buttload of 80's XT parts went up yesterday.

Lookin good Tragerbon. What are you using for paint on the plastics? Might have to think about touching mine up.

1995 Xt600e Fs

Hope this is okay here. I've listed my 1995 XT600E in the Flea Market under Bikes for sale. Asking $1950 OBO. Only issue is a very small seep of oil from the neutral switch, just have not had time to order the $13 part and install it. Otherwise 100% mechanically, no issues of any kind. Cosmetically 8 or 9 of 10. Rear tire at 50% tread.

Just bought a newer DR650.

If interested contact me at: ldw@centurytel.net or 719-783-0365 or cell 719-371-1540

hey guys I need some help.

My bike is having a little issues. I'm at 5,500 feet in Colorado and she's stuttering between 1/3 and 1/2 throttle. What's going on? It's died a handful of times while coming to a stop with the clutch in. What screws do I need to adjust? I'm assuming it's the low end but which carb??? The idle is fine and so is anything about 1/2 throttle, I just don't get it. Which carb needs what?

I need a turn signal/multifunction switch. Does anyone know what other models share this switch with? 1989 XT.

Is there a trick to getting the needle jet separated from the slide? It seems to not want to budge at all. The needle just turns inside the brass fitting on the slide.

hi everyone this is my first post. i hope its in the right spot. i just picked up an 85 xt600, its in rough shape but it was cheap. before i paid for it i checked a few things out, turns over? yes. spark? yes. and compression yes (119 pounds).

now this morning, i cleaned the tank + carbs, put everything back in went to give it a kick and it wont budge. seems to be locked up.

takeing a closer look i noticed the decompression cable was badly rusted and possibly stuck open?! would this cause it to lock up like that? i want to fix it, im just not sure where to start. does anyone have any ideas?
