Ahh....

I have one of the last Walther PPK/S pistols made by Manurhin [yes, it says "Made in W. Germany"] and imported into the U.S. before production was licensed to Interarms.

And I will never part with it.

And on the cool watch front, I just picked up used a 95% Citizen Eco-Zilla, with stainless steel bracelet. Next on the list are strap adapters and a heavyweight NATO strap. I think black with an orange stripe down the middle. That would complement the black dial and the orange "skeleton" accent on the minute hand. Now I just need to find one.

WA.

Me too. Here's a pic of my 5513, but lately I've been wearing my Sea Dweller most of the time.

Cool watch, Citizen Eco Drive, means no batteries ever. GMT Diver. I never wear it though. I do like it!

No batteries, ever, but if you don't wear it, be sure it gets adequate light or you'll be buying a capacitor (that's what my watchmaker calls it, anyway) to get it to run. My Eco-Drive doesn't get much wear (gift from X) but I leave it on a window sill. I've learned my lesson...it's on its third capacitor at, IIRC $30 each..

Maybe the old ones had capacitors. I think they all have lithium-ion rechargeable batteries now. A rechargeable battery has much more capacity than a capacitor of equal size.

We'll have to consider that my watchmaker is nearly 80 and semi-retired. The watch is about a 2001 vintage.

It sits in an area where it gets light all day.

Make sure that's a North-facing window sill. Lots of light, but not in direct sunlight for hours at a time. The watch is protected from overcharging, but excess charge is converted to heat. They can get pretty warm.
