No, but I'd like to know where - I've seen a broadarrow GMT that they want $5K for new, in stainless - is this one that much less expensive???? wow.

I came very close to getting that but opted for the GMT anniversary edition instead.
You're good. AD's in my area were acting like they were taking it in the shorts by offering me 5% off of the $6400 retail. Fortunately, I happened upon this deal at another AD. I like the GMT and vacillated between the two but pulled the string on the sub.

Breitling make some nice watches with the 24 hour dial.....favored by pilots, but VERY nice.
I'm not much for the digital g-shock style. I like analog things in my digital world.

brietling...you did notice where I said I didnt roam in the 2k world? The watch I bought was well under a grand and I chewed my lip over it for two days before pulling the trigger

That's retail....cruise Ebay for good pricing......there's other places too. Figure half retail when you're looking for watches like this.

From an Authorized dealer? List on the one I want is $7,400. That 5 is from an authorized dealer, not an internet price. I'm not sure if the grey market is a good thing or not - it used to be a pita with cameras.

Sorry I have no idea what a Broadarrow costs.........I was only quoting the Speedmaster which in SS is like $4-5K MSRP so $2k is reasonable if you look around and are willing to buy used. I only mentioned it in case someone here had a good lead.

You can get them in manual (Mechanical) , Automatic, and quartz. This one is quartz, which I like on this watch. I might buy a Mechanical one if I can find the one I want.

The date window is cool. The deal killer, for me, is that huge crown guard. It's beyond fugly, to my eye.

Tag with Maratec bands and my grandfather's Lord Elgin. A watch repair shop in Sebastopol replaced the stem and crown in the 1980's. I'm not sure what year it's from but it must be from the '40's.

I've got both- and I never wear the Rolex. That Omega's a great watch. No complaints. I don't think I paid much more than $2k for it- and that's for the auto, not the quartz. Mine's a white face, cobalt blue hands.
