Thanks for the input. That's about what I figured for the Omega....I'd only get the automatic. If I wanted an electric watch, I'd just buy a Seiko...nothing wrong with those.

If you are looking for brand new, I have a AD that I use in the USA that ships to Canada or my drop box in Washinghton state. Very handy when I bought my wife a Ladies Aqua Terra Automatic.

One can go over to the Omega forum at watchuseek and ask for their FAD - Favorite Authorized Dealer. I've seen his prices - tough to beat.

Here's a quick picture of the two that arrived today. The one on the left is an Omega SMP - a black Bond. It's less than seven months old and is in perfect shape. The right one is the MKII Sea Fighter that I won via MWR's Christmas Raffle.

Oddly enough, both arrived today...in fact, I kind of ambushed the postal carrier on the first floor of our building today as I returned from lunch. He was happy since it saved him a trip to our floor.

Very pleased with both - they're substantial watches.

Recieved from a close friends estate after helping get things settled... And yea, that is a scratch in the crystal, been told its pretty expensive to get it corrected.

And I didn't know these existed before this thread, I've had it a few months now and adore it!

Only thing I'd change is to get a black SS bracelet. Couldn't find one to order when I bought it, and can't find a good one to buy now that isn't nuts expensive. Thoughts?

Is that a Poljot? just measure the distance between the lugs and go online for a correctly sized bracelet.

It is. I just can't seem to find a black ss band... I'm thinking a NATO band is next if I can't locate one.
