Agreed. However, follow up after purchase can be lacking at times.

So let's see, Chinese rolex is up next. Picked it up on the street in some town I can't remotely remember the name of in China, 300Y. I think that was about $37 bucks at the time, so I probably got jacked, but I wanted to buy one at the source I hate even real Rolex bands, so I put a band I liked on it. It actually kept good time, and of course fooled most people. Sadly, you can't tell in the picture, but the bezel is actually coming off now

where would one find a band like that? id like to get one for my swiss army watch that ive had since highschool. i go through straps like a mofo so that one might work a little better. maybe not though.

You'll need a strap and a buckle- the buckle style is called a "deployant"- and you will need to know the spacing between the lugs on your watch in mm's, as well as your wrist measurement. Google is your friend~

Rolex and Heure

My two rolex's take way too much money to keep them going. Where do you guys send yours for repair as Rolex is a rip...
My Heure that I bought for 200 bucks in Thailand in 1985 is looking for repair. Any ideas?

My local jeweler sends it to an independent shop. He isn't a new Rolex dealer so he isn't bound by their rules. My watch comes back like new for around $450 plus parts.

I send my Rolexes back to Rolex about once every five years for service and calibration. This assures that there are no "funny" issues and that it then gains the Rolex warranty on the work.

Last time I sent out off it came back for a grand total of $480.00 including tax.

Speaking of, I need to send two off tomorrow.
