both were victorinox, there was a Victorinox store around the block from me in Soho NY, that's where I picked them up.

it's a shame, I grew up with Vic SA knives an they were made so well.

Hey guys--any seiko experts in the house? I just bought some new bling from ebay and while I think its a beautiful watch, I am somewhat concerned that it may be a knock off. The bezel (I think thats what its called--the ring with the numbers on it) is looser than the other seiko I have.

p.s. Obligatory knife included in the photo--my benchmade daily carry that I absolutely love.

Seriously, while I'm no expert, it looks legitimate to me. 7S36 23 jewel movement. With a reasonable amount of care, it should last as long as you do.

Since you can buy an almost perfect Rolex fake for 200 clams, what would a perfect fake Seiko cost, and would it have a real seiko movement like the fake Rolexs? That is weird, I think it is real.

Thanks. It just came in a plastic pouch wrapped in chamois--no box or paperwork--and as mentioned the bezel feels loose as compared to my other seikos.

Ebay. From ebay seller "omrami" who has several of the seiko sport 5 watches for sale. I really wanted the maroon one (similar to the rare Red Monster).

I thik so too as I can't see whay they would go to the length to knock off a Seiko! I mean, it's a nice watch and I want one now that you posted it........but it isn't a 6K watch like a Rolex or Breitling. So kocking off a watch that sells on the net for under 300 clams is silly isn't it?

There are more than a few Feikos out there. Also, a ton of fake G-Shocks. You can buy (I know, I've done it) decent working automatic watches on the bay for $20 or $30, and digitals for less. Put it in a "real" looking case and sell it for $100? Why not?

This one was $0.99+$20.00 s&h. I don't wear it much, but it's a decent watch.
