i'll check into that. that was my first thought as well, but my manager said he had a (different) watch do exactly the same thing, and his wasn't the battery.

other than the second hand, it's keeping perfect time.

Brown looks great on a black or grey face watch. My stock black leather strap on my first Russian Diver broke, and I stuck a brown one on it since that is the only one I could find. It looked great!

2 second hits are indicative of a tired battery. At least on every quartz watch I have ever owned.

Beats me, I've got two quartz the Omega and an old Tag 1500 and they both do it. I thought they all did.
