I got it off Ebay from 'antique_leatherstraps'. They have a few made from old ammo pouches like that one. I don't know if they have anymore left.

Go find a deployant clasp, that'll work. RHD makes a nice one.

I have a buckle on the way, but I might try something like that

Unless you're scuba diving with that thing (have a need to buckle around a wetsuit), the deployment clasp is a great way to go w/ a custom-strap, because it doesn't deform the strap as much as a traditional tang buckle. The whole thing lasts longer.

Of course...I've yet to find a deployment clasp w/ the same "presence" as a Panerai or B&R style buckle.

not necessarily posted here cos it's a 'cool' watch (altho i'm pretty happy with it) but because of the 'cos-I-can' factor of being forced to sit by the pool at 9.13am(ish) and relax in the 84F temperatures while my friends and family shiver in the early winter chill at home......

it's a tough job but i'm willing to take one for the team!

(sorry that my photo skills don't allow me to have both the watch and the background in focus but in this case i thought the background more deserved the limelight - we've all seen Yobokies handywork already)

Lum-Tec watchs?

I've searched all the watch threads and didn't come up with anything. Anyone have any experience with these?

I wear a Lum Tec M13 daily and love it. No issues to speak of.

I just ordered a brown leather strap to see how that looks

i like the look... and the price point! I would love to spend money on a nice watch, but i'm just not there yet. Still spending money on practical stuff like BMW R2P suits.... lol.

So, does anyone make a fake of these? I'm guessing not at a $350ish price range... but i wanted to ask before i buy. I don't want a fake... even of a "cheap" watch.

I cant decide between the 6292-5 and the one pictured above 6296M-5...and between the leather bands or the metal bands...

suggestions?

Some are some aren't in the Junkers line. Some are even Poljot auto or mechanical movements and others auto or quartz movements.

Yea, spare yourself and run away!

Actually that does not look too bad for a $300 watch, although I'm not sure I like the on off display at noon, but that's about all I notice.

I am guessing that that is a quartz but really, if you want it to be right all the time, it is the way to go.

Not that there is anything wrong with spending money I watches. Really. Just don't ask my wife what she thinks. Sigh.
