Does anyone here have a Submariner on a leather NATO strap? Could you share a picture?

I stumbled upon this: http://gearpatrol.com/blog/2011/01/2...-watch-straps/ and wondered what it would look like.

I'm getting a little tired of the bracelet on my Sub, but don't care for the nylon NATO straps. Leather sounds interesting, but I'd like to see what it looks like.

Bob - were you in the service? If so, I have a excellent suggestion: look up "olongapo bracelet". There's a few comments toward the bottom of this page and the chances of ever seeing another one is extremely small. They're that unique. I have a source in the PI who will make one with just about any emblem you want - within reason.

They are extremely comfortable - here's a couple of shots of mine:

Technically speaking, you don't have to be a vet to wear one but they have a 100% military connection. This guy in the PI can add other emblems also - for example, if you're a diver, a diving flag emblem would look very cool. If you ride a BMW, you could add that emblem. Not sure if he'll do a KLR one though.

I think I magnetized my Oris. It has been slow several minutes (although not consistently) over the past week now. Unfortunately, this corresponds with spending more and more time in our pilot plant, around lots of big transformers.

Anyone know if there's any other watches out there that have a Faraday cage, like a Rolex Milgauss??
