It's the factory strap, although it's not available on the watch with the orange numbers... so you buy the watch with the metal strap and the rubber strap on it's own.

Am thinking about trying my NATO strap too

That's a nice seamaster, Fritz. Although it strikes me a little odd that you designate a sport watch like that for weddings and funerals duty! No doubt that baby cost you a chunk and I'm sure you don't want to scratch it, but think of it as good watch karma. Among watch enthusiasts, there's a Japanese term for this kind of wear, but it escapes me at the moment.
