Here's a 48mm on my wrist,

and a 52mm on my wrist. These pics make them look larger than real life I might say.

Yes, I was going to point that out, I took the pic head on to show the face. I'm wearing the watch right now and in normal life at all the angles it looks great and not as dominant as the pic. However I would advise anyone if they did not want a watch this size certainly don't buy one.

I have a few buddies who told me I was crazy to get a 52mm watch BEFORE they saw it in person. Now three of the four have one like it or a different finish. I have three 52mm watches, three that are in the 47~48mm and the rest are all 43mm or smaller. When I now wear a watch smaller than 47mm, it feels like a woman's watch on my wrist. I am wearing a vintage Zodiac today, and at 43mm it feels TINY but I LOVE this watch.

Their Chrono Avenger Blacksteel is the 44mm variant that would appeal to those who prefer a little less "wrist presence." Same 7750-derived movement.

You can't really tell what a watch looks like on your wrist from a face shot...particularly from an up-close face shot with a wide-angle focal length. Step it back & shoot it from an off angle to get the perspective of how the lugs drape around the wrist...or not.

Just curious what vintage Zodiac came in a 43mm? Is it one of those 60's futuristic style ones?

My vintage Sea Wolf is a 38mm - I actually love it's size when wearing a suit, I can actually button my cuff

How old do you consider a watch to be vintage? Sounds (from the size) like one of the new (brand) Zodiacs.

The original Zodiac brand was bought out in 1990 and went bankrupt a few years later. I think it was Fossil that started using the name on their watches around 2000.

It's old, I guess it's vintage, but it's a rebadged Fossil according to the model and year made.

(no offense Sniper)
