It has been said...You buy a Rolex to impress others, You buy a Grand Seiko to impress yourself.

Not necessarily. If you get a Rolex at the right price, it's almost better than money in the bank.
The GS and Seiko Spring Drives are very nice, and extremely appealing to me as the watchmaker's science and art, but it remains to be seen how they hold value. WA. |

I have the "Pepsi" version and it's my smallest (newer) diver's watch...

I bought a green Sub because it was tax free and I liked it. It's doubled in value so far.

Anyone have a link to a Rolex on-line retailer that's genuine and offers the lowest prices?

I used interwatches.com and have no complaints. Paid a very reasonable price for my vintage DJ and came with 1-year warranty -- which I did not need.

Really into the look of this fossil. Suggestions on watches that have that look?

Skeletonized watches are a specialty - that one has a pair of sub-dials, I don't know anything specific. You need to just google and search. Personally, I'd prefer a display back to a display front with the exception of the Bulova Accutron Space View.
Fossil is a fashion watch, so don't have high expectations for lifespan or accuracy, they get changed every season.
