Good to see Lum-Tec being shown here. I love mine, and would have more if they made some white faces.

Nice watch...nice band. I used to have the "Bond" band on the Seiko. I switched it when the battery on my fancy watch died and I needed something a little dressier for a business meeting.

These are my other watches. Nothing fancy or rare.

My dad lives in a nursing home so I am playing caretaker all of his watches except the one he wears everyday.

Left to right: Wyler Incaflex Dynawind, Bulova Automatic Set-O-Matic, Elgin De Luxe and Omega (Retirement - 30 years of service) Dad had a Rolex but it was stolen by a gold-digger that took advantage him as he began suffering of Alzheimer's Dementia.

I had recently bought my brother an omega seamaster for plating my clavicle (another story) and at the time I had mentioned that if I was going to get a nice watch it would be a grand seiko spring drive. Apparently she remembered and scored one on her own. Its a beautiful watch, and I like the understated fact that "its just a seiko"
Sweet! I have a Spring Drive (SNS003) and the "just a Seiko" comment is right on.

Damm nice wife you have as well!

I saw this, and it made me laugh.

The DEFAKTO Inkognito - the idea is to display the time with the minimum information while being exact as needed. This new German made one-handed watch collection has been stripped down to the core removing all branding from the dial leaving the single hand to let you know precisely what the approximate time is.
-emphasis mine

Um, precisely the approximate time?

That would be even cooler if it was a 24 hr. dial. Days would really seem to drag on!

I've got an old Russian watch with a 24hr dial. It has more than one hand, though...

And yes, I rarely can wear it w/o doing a double-take each time I check the time, as the hour hand is not where I expect it to be, most of the time.

Those were usually considered a Submarine watch so they would know whether it was day or night. Some (of the sub mariner watches) had a complication of a little disc in the center above the 6 o clock position that went from light to dark to display day or night if they were a 12hr watch too. Is yours a Vostok? Does it kinda look like this?

and here's one with the day night complication
