Still a cool watch though

(Yeah, looks like that one was put back together with the internals upside down)

If you haven't seen it, here's a nice article from Forbes regarding Nomos.

My newest old watch. Should be here sometime towards the end of January. Hopefully I did not waste $18

I like that. I keep looking for function in a watch, date, stop watch, multiple time zones.
I like the look of some of the simple watches that just tell you the time.

New Strap

New strap makes it seem like a new watch to me.

Classy and understated.

I wish I had

My killer birthday present from my wonderful wife:

I posted about this watch probably 2 years ago in this thread and finally have one! It's not an expensive watch, but as a gadget freak, I really like it. It's a Seiko Map Meter and the huge crown on the left side rolls along a map such that distance can be measured.

Well, even though the 21st didn't garner the end of the world, I suppose it's a good idea to keep up on the orienteering skills with proper maps as well. It's admittedly a little bit of a gadget with little practical purpose, but it still is really cool to me.

Sure, I am just kidding. Enjoy your watch. I didn't even know watches could do that.

Cool2

From my wife for Xmas. It's difficult (for me) to take a picture of, and the pictures don't do it justice...
