I recieved a Seiko 5 SNZH55 for Christmas, very happy with it. The 42mm doesnt look as huge on my wrist as I was worried. So, its going into the daily-wear slot, and my Citizen will go in the drawer to wait for my son. The band is too small, and I cannot find links for it anywhere.

On another note, my mother-in-law has her dad's Waltham mechanical wristwatch from the 40's that needs repair. Anyone with experience with that brand and getting repairs?

I just searched the internet for local places that repair mechanical watches for a 40's Elgin, found several and one got it running fine. The waltham will be easily repaired by someone who knows their biz.

As for internet, I have used these guys a couple times with great luck.

Citizen Eco-Drive Titanium Sapphire WR100.

Just picked one up at Costco $179. here in Canukstan. Seems great so far. Sorry no pic. Was at a watch store near by and they had the same watch on sale, 30% off $250.

Box stock. Both Wheedle's SNZH55 and tselewiz' SNZH57 are the basis for the Fifty Five Fathoms mods, as this one, based on the 55.

I got one of these for Xmas:

Not big or fancy, but it looks clean, and will do what I want it to do. Since my last watch died, I've been getting sick of looking at my phone to tell the time.

Old Rolexes are cool.

Couldn't get the AAAA105 so went for the AAAA101. I think this will be cool on a decent leather strap.
