Never been a pocket watch fan but that one, and the story, is wonderful

I don't have any as nice as that Bracky, that is pretty awesome.

I got these about 25 years ago from my grandma. She had them in a garage sale and they didn't sell so she gave them to me. I have done nothing with them, and recently just re found them. I have no use for them and no interest in getting them repaired. So I'm mostly interested in finding their value and a way to get them in someone's hand that would appreciate them.

the first is an American Waltham. According to the serial number it's from 1889. gold plate, no crystal, sprung clasp.

Next up is a Wm. Ellery. From what I can find on google, it is an American Waltham relabeled lower end watch. If it uses the Waltham serial numbers it dates to 1863. Silver Waltham case, missing hands an crystal.

Last is the odd ball. There is a hallmark on the case FM with a 6 centered below it. A couple serial numbers on the case. But the only writing on the case is Patent

London

The mechanism has no markings or serial numbers. It has much more ornate workings, with a hunting dog and bird engraved. Silver case, hands, and crystal missing. Google turns up very little.

There should be a chapter of the National Assn of Watch and Clock Collectors in your area. Many members of the NAWCC will appraise your watch or refer you to someone who will.

Two of the ugliest brands of watches in this thread are also the most expensive - what's up with that?
