They should clearly change the design to shaft drive.

Hold those two watches in your hand and it's a slam dunk. I'm sure there are watch nutz who'll chime in about authenticity and such- doesn't mean a damn if the watch doesn't have a high end feel and look if you axe me.

This one seems pretty finished, to me...but I like the Pams, too.

That's sure different. I sort of like the way they got it to do the spring wind-unwind with the reserve reader on the cylidrical spring barrel.

I did not look at what that costs, but I bet it was more than my Breitling.

Ohh yeah.

A quick peek at other DeWitt Constant Force Tourbillons, and not even in platinum, reveals prices between a quarter and a half million dollars US.

This one is likely a VERY limited edition, probably between 20 and 200 pieces total, and it's probably between $750,000 to $1M.

Welcome to the stratosphere of the VERY elite wristwatches.

After about three years of wanting a ...nicer watch than the ones I kept wearing and breaking, I finally bought myself one of these:

Tissot PRC 200

Not in the same league as some of the stuff I've seen here, but I have wanted one for a while and now I have one.

LOL! I once flew an airplane that cost that much, but I'd never wear it on my wrist...oh, my that's rather....steep.

It'll be in December if things go well. Look at the amount of input that the forum is providing. I'm not a huge fan of design by committee but since Bill has the final word, it'll be very close to his original vision.

This was one of the drawings - I think the upper left will be close to the final version. Silver hands will be available also.

Boy the WUS forum has been a total dog. I can't even get there. Must be some serious traffic lately.

Ernie had some malicious attackes that started last weekend. He had it up and running but there were issues again that started late yesterday.
