Larger Gas Tanks?

Any feed back from the inmates on Larger Gas tanks for a 2010 530? Not seeing what I want, yet.

Clockworks is 3.3g, only .8 larger than stock...not worth the $. IMHO.

Will add the fan kit later. So the tank will need to work with that. 4.5 - 5 gal would be plenty.

Thanks for any help offered.

4 gallon

I'm pretty sure Safari gas tanks have a 4 gallon tank. A little pricey but I think it worth it. I have one for my 07 exc and I think they make one for the 08's and up.

Check out justgastanks.com

One of these:

http://www.promotobillet.com/catalog...roducts_id/455

Plus one of these:

http://compare.ebay.com/like/3304249...=sbar&_lwgsi=y

Should solve your problems.

And you can remove the rear tank when you don't need it.

I dropped it off at Highland Cycles in Montrose; Morgan's doing a top end; kibblewhite valves (yay!) and cam chain, new seals, etc. And looking it all over to make sure it's good to go. It was using a tiny bit of oil, but I was almost out of adjustment on the intake valves, and the cam chain noise was getting bad. 290+ hrs are on it if I remember correctly.

No; the Salida sunshine has not been kind. I hate orange anodized anything because of that; it will fade. The wheels look copper now.

They're still good and strong, though, so I hate to replace them.
