After a get off and a broken TPS I had a recovery come get me. This is a picture of the recovery vehicle with a broken tierod - note jack on the right front wheel. The roads had gone to crap due to a very light rain so we waited 7 hours for the part to come. I had the Milepost and a satellite phone to keep me from going nuts.

Check out Backroads Touring Kansas website/club. Several rides a year through the Flint Hills and also Northern Kansas, D/S style. I'd like to lead a day or two riding in the Gypsum Hills of Kansas too. One of these days, I'll get one put together. Gyp Hills are very cool.
