What a cool shot! I am trying to visualize where that was taken. Obviously those are the eastern Sierras in the background. Is Sand Mountain behind the hills to the right? You have inspired me to duplicate your shot as well. I will be riding that road in 3 weeks so let's see if I can come up with something close to yours. Thanks!

It's a road from San Pedro de Atacama to Calama, north of Chile. The name means something like "Plain of Patience". You guys can see why...
