Follow that itty bitty road you can see out that cabin window, past my helmet, for about 40 miles and you will hit pavement.
A view from outside the cabin, BTW coming from the other direction is even more lonely ![]()

This is North of the Grand Canyon somewhere.. the road winds down the ridge I'm on, then you can see it goes for miles down below in front of those beautiful red cliffs.

Big Bend:
That first shot is coming down into northern arizona from the Kanab National Forest. Freaking awesome views up there coming down into the open desert. I had the pleasure of riding through there right at sunset and then camped at Lee's Ferry in Marble Canyon. Amazing color out there especially at sunset. Me right before sunset:
