Hi RR, I think I spliced it in. I'll try to get you a picture tonight.

OK, I checked it out and I just spliced in quick slide in connectors. The switch just has blade contacts. Hope that helps.

I can remember slobbering over that Susi as a child. If anyone can redo it you'd be the one VTwin. Good luck!

The old T-125 Stinger. One of the prettiest bikes of its time, and very popular around here. 15hp @ 8500rpm, 13ft/lbs @ 7000rpm and about 200lbs. A mate had one and probably the most frightening time of my life was being pillioned on it for a 20 mile ride to uni when my bike was off the road, redlined all the way. Garry used to ride it WFO and it made a glorious wail. A lot of fun to have one, and it will be nice to see it rebuilt.

Thanks guys, have been wanting one for a bit. It's in rough shape, but came from the original owner. Trying to unfreeze the engine, bike has been sitting outside, uncovered for 10 years.

Finally got CHP verification done and the DMV gave me their blessing in me owning this fine product. So now work begins.

No amount of PB Blaster was helping free up the engine. Time to pull it apart and see what's the hold up.

That's as far as I got tonight. Weekend is coming up and will try to get the cylinders off. They were on there with a death grip.

This a good lesson in get those bikes covered before the "ran when parked" happens!

Didn't get too far, cylinders still stuck to the pistons. I hope this doesn't end up like someone's BSA engine.

Looks like water and moisture got down the cylinders through the rubber intake boot that was cracked. I even removed the studs thinking I could tap the cylinder off, or at least pry it. I even tried twisting it since the studs were out. It's stuck fast.

That's a lot of rust down in the intake and with iron cylinders to steel rings, I'm pretty sure they're welded together.

MORE PB Blaster, or maybe I'll find some Kroil, torch perhaps?

Ok, no luck on removing the cylinders. May have to break the pistons and use a press to get the remaining piston pieces out. Decided to check into get the tank cleaned up. Anyone know what one could expect to basically restore a tank?
