Give it time. Plenty of older women have issues with peach fuzz or worse.

I noticed that they had generic brand razor cartridges that "Compare to Mach 3" for $5 instead of $12. Probably worth a try.

no shit.

I recycle, dispose of my toxic shit properly, and generally try to keep my consumer waste level down to a minimum.

Why should five tiny replacement blades cost as much or more as a whole sack full of throw-aways?

It doesn't make sense. There is at least 20 times more plastic in the disposables as the refills, and they use the exact same cartridge.

(But then again, I'm not a greedy corporate accountant.)

Blades get "dull" because of the light oxidation that forms on the edge
stainless means stainless not stain proof so drying them makes them last
Yeah, um, or you can just drop whatever blade you're currently using into a little crappy shot glass of cheap vodka and accomplish the same thing. I get close to a month of daily use out of one Mach 3 blade.

But what a waste of cheap vodka.

Well, I heard this rumor see. And it goes like this...

For a long time the race between manufacturers was to have the sharpest most durable blade. However, there is a point beyond which you cannot get a blade any sharper and they reached that point some time time ago. So, how can they increase sales going forward? By continually introducing new models with extra features they can charge more for. But they have to have them become obsolete to make room for the newest model. Ever notice that when a new model is introduced it shaves like a dream but over time it seems to get worse?

When they introduce a new model they initially use the highest quality steel for the blades which is the reason they last so long and shave so well. Over time they slowly reduce the quality of the steel in preparation for the introduction of the new turbo charged nine bladed ultra maxi laser honed model which they've used the quality steel on again.

I know its true.

4 shaves better than 2 or 3. And last quite a long time for me.

Actually, I find the best shave is in the sauna. No soap just the razor, and it can be a dull cheapie it doesn't really matter. Closest shave you will ever have.

Doesn't a sauna make you sweat a lot? My face burns if I happen to break a sweat not long after shaving.
