It's quite easy to get an aftermarket pipe that's not loud.
While I agree that lighter is good and it probably feels faster, 30% seems a stretch - you have quarter mile times perhaps ?

70-100kph 4th gear roll-ons.
3 seconds for the supertrapp.
4 seconds for the stock pipe.
(jetted to suit the pipes).

3.5 seconds for the drilled stock pipe.

I've left the drilled stocker on to keep the noise levels down on overrun vs the SuperTrapps' gunshots.

Thinking out loud.

Shady camping type spot with swimming would mean November through to March would be good.

Looks like a reasonable day ride from Canberra too - thats good.

To make things easier we could call on a few other DR' folk to assist with organising - spread the load.

If advertised and with good weather I reckon we could get 50 - 60 along. We could charge a small fee and give a little earnings to a local charity or FDS?

The date should not clash with other rallies or events eg bike races etc to keep the numbers up.
yeah swimming spot might be a bit hard to come by just depends on what happens with the drought!! river has dried up at the club itself however there are a few good holes close by that I can get accsess to !!

if the drought continues we can have a davorallyfan dry tshirt competion instead of wet tshirt competion (how does that sound)

you let me know what you need and ill attempt it!

Hi Nordie

You have been following and posting on the thread on Thumpertalk for the dyno run with the FCR-MX and different exhausts. I am sure that you have checked out the dyno runs from Procycle.

You know you are not being honest with youself.

There is a small gain to be had for a shit load of noise.

Cheers

Kim

I've checked out my own dyno runs thanks.

I measured my honesty with a stopwatch - not enough if I was selling mods or anything but good enough for me.

There is a good gain to be had for a lot of noise and the same gain for less noise with something like the GSXR pipe.

Have had the DR for a week now and have started on the mods.
Staintune full system is on, B&B bashplate is fitted.

Reikon high bars & risers are on, Ego barkbusters ar on.

Waiting for the Safari 30L tank and pivot pegs to arrive, then it's off to the suspension shop (Hoey's).

What's the good oil on the correct jetting for the exhaust with modded airbox????

Then it time to get dirty.
Regards Bob

No mate, I just don't want it to bottom out at speed, and to stiffen up the fronts a bit.
Cheers Bob
