To tell you the truth I was a little bit shaken up as evidenced by the failure to use auto on my camera. A mob of 7 or so walabies crossed the road (wet clay) all at once and a pig shooter ute was up my clacker.

I ran over the wallaby - killed it almost the ute behind pulled up guy gets out beer in one hand gun in the other and put the wallaby out of its misery and said that was one of the funniest things hes seen.(imo not very funny). Anyways it happened not far from here.

yes its not funy when the little buggas run out in front of the bike



PS i hope you dont put all the hunters in the "beer in one hand gun in the other " catagory

i had a wombat run out in front of my old tenere lucky i missed

Nah I try not to generalise about anyone and dislike it when people do it about motocyclists.

Got no problem with guns if they have a purpose eg in the country not sure if they are so good in urban areas. I think current OZ gun laws are about right. I really dont want to turn this into a gun thread.

yeah the only"gun"stuff here is how my DR it a top gun

i might have to get one of thems fangled digital camera's(only using the vid cam its to big)

Aah, the DR Big.... The first of the 800's ('91/92) would be the pick of the bunch for me I know we never got the later model DR800 here in oz (more roadish from '93 onwards), but I thought we got the early 800? Although I've never seen one here.

There must be a few of them over here. A bloke I did a riding course at Werribee with last year said he had one at home. He was from Nth Victoria, I think.
