Check the vendors thread.. I think there is someone associated with that site who can get you a Belstaff... He offers discounts on some jackets, but not all - but he can get you them.. I talked to him about the leather one, but he couldn't offer a discount and it wasn't cheap, so I passed...

edit .... do a look at the previous posts from Dantegod

Think it was silicone impregnated not zinc. My FG Baron and FG leather Kilimanjaro both have it. Love it.

They run about a two sizes big... I usually get a 3x in an Adv jacket so I can wear allot underneath, and both my jackets show 5x and with out the liner it a little baggy, but I just synch the belt and it's fine.. When I ordered em, I went with the 54 both times... I had a leather place put in some additional zippers/vents in the black one similar to what they have now...

I've got the "Miline" Melbourne jacket and a Vanson "Teton"
The Mikine is quite well designed but poorly executed, it feels cheap and the stitching is suss.
The Vanson is worth every cent.

Belstaff Knockhill

Sorry... we missed the BMW rally last week had to do the Moto GP. We had all the Belstaff Jackets on display and sold out of most of them to European customers due to the weak $ and high retail price in Europe. We ship out of our San Diego Warehouse for USA Belstaff Orders. Many of you may not have heard but the Belstaff Brand was just sold to LabelLux out of Switzerland a major player in the Luxery Brand market. Sorry I missed responding too a few comments on this thread. The slanted pocket was indead for your time card although there were those who used it as a pistol pocket.

Belstaff Knockhill vs. Vanson Teton. Anyone do a side by side comparison, which wins?

Cool2 Curious about these....

I keep dredging, as I am looking for an awesome 3/4 length jacket at an equally awesome price. (I am a guzzi rider and therefore, cheap) I see this one available from a shop in India and have been in contact to see if this would fit my needs..

and I really like this one as well....

If anyone has experience with either of these....let me know!

I have one of the new versions, it's a pretty solid-feeling jacket. The leather isn't super-thick but it's about the same as my Fieldsheer jacket.

It fits me great, I wear a 44L and ordered a 46 in the jacket. The sleeves are just long enough and the torso isn't even terribly huge as is usually the case.

My only real gripe is that the armor it comes with still sucks. It looks better than what was included in the previous version, but it's still pitiful compared to the armor in my Fieldsheer jacket. So, I swapped the Fieldsheer armor over since this jacket fits me so much better.

The venting is OK, still not going to be a jacket for 90+ degree weather but I think it'll do OK into the low 80s.

Oh, and there are no longer any labels stitched into the jacket. It's just plain black leather. I really like this one and I feel like I got a great deal for $200.
