Tazmania has a nice bit rock off the coast covered with Sea Lions. And they are the favorite food for the great whites (white pointers to aussies). you can go cage diving!

..just noticed the "Cairns City Council", and my friend GoogleMaps shows Cairns to be in NE Australia, Great Barrier Reef area... hence the deadly stuff in the water...

Tasmania is its own separate island, south of Australia (sorta like going north up on this side of the world: much cooler!) .....and likely much more vegetated than those pics....I used to follow those 'round the world sailing races, and the stretch south of Tasmania and towards NZ was always a bit dicey (!!).. Look up the Hobart-Sydney race, too... yikes!

so, how did we do, professor? we yanks are not know for our "outside the (US)box" geography, are we...

Princess Jamaica's bike, loaded up with bags and tank...

Sure looks like a comfortable ride, carrying all you might need at the day's end.... and it could be a long one, with that tank!

thanks for putting up the pics bob.the bike is getting the clutch done right now.it only needed a new friction plate and seals.should be buttoned up by next week and then i can see just how far that tank will take me!!

Go to the top of the class. The other two photos are hard to pick. It is on the road North of Birdsville towards Mt. Isa. On that trip, we almost got taken out by camels, wild horses, Emus by the truck load and big reds (Kangaroos)

Every thing up North is big and can kill you. Every thing small can kill you in Tasmania

Crocs at Normanton. Must be something in the water.
