Cool!
A few of the WWI replica that fly under the "dawn patrol" moniker around here are motorcycle engine powered as well; taxi in one gear, then shift for take-off!

This one doesn't even have the tranny attached (or at least I can't see it). I think the prop is straight off the crank and they just vary the throttle openning for taxi and takeoff. No tranny would save one good chunk of weight.

Ice, no- Mud and snow, yes! Well, there's enough ice to warrant screws.

Thanks for saying so.

They went and did a +600 class on me while I was at work, just this past one.

The track was nice enough to let me run it around with all the little bikes.
The spectators were nice enough to give me the thumbs up alot.
My girlfriend was nice enough to snap a couple of pics. And so was one other guy whose name I never grabbed...
One other rider was actually nice enough to loan me a spare pair of boots... in my haste to pack up all the gear I forgot mine
Showed up at the gate and was like :gah
I'm only finishing 4-6 laps where the real racers are doing 12-14, but the challenge is more important to me. Actually I lied. I could be a mid pack B rider or I could be the idiot on the PD. My choice is idiot
