Matt, that last one has a look of actual film about it. Nice shot.

I like the one above it, as well, the two hondas.

The guy I got that one from has one complete one and two frames and a shit ton of parts. You could make that wish into a reality for 750 dollars.

It is. That's from a disposal camera held down with my hand facing west on I-70 in Kansas just outside of Colorado. I scaned it with my friends decent quality scanner.

Thanks. It's one of my fav's too.

Then there were the green ones everyone wants. I'm pretty sure the red, green or black ones were made all three years and all but the proto-type units had black frames from the factory. The paint was very crappy, which is part of the reason so many have ended up with colored frames. All of them (sports) had the gear driven cams as well.

The one in the picture is a badged '74 model made in mid-'73. One of the last. It's been modified with 89mm (900cc) venolia pistons in iron liners and a T-3 tranny. Looks like it is about to be mine!!!
Congrats on the V7sport
I broke down and got a telio rosso clone made out of an 850 t3
I call it an V8.5sport.

The only green framed tonti from the factory I know about is the 1000s from the late 80's early 90's

The early V7sport's had the red frame green body work
Story is that the green paint was colored after zinc chromate primer.
Someone thought it stood out and decided it should be the racing bike's color.

Later V7sports were green with black frame. I've seen lots of Red bikes with silver frames as well.

They are fun bikes when they run. Get the bugs worked out and they are a blast.
