Notice how the handlebars grew into the tree? That tree would have to come down to rescue that one!

Cool pic, Rathlindri - your Triumph?

I'm sorry, I know it's not Friday, and I was several thousand k's (miles if you prefer) from the bike when the picture was taken, and I've just posted the same shot in the NZ pics thread ... but she's mine and I love her

Cheers

John

Yea, man... my biggest lens is a measly 300 mm, let alone thousands of km's... Damn, wonder where you get those....

BTW, nice shot, nice place and nice bike, what's NOT to love??!!

Damn I wanted to make it over to sandblast rally. next year man. If I get my dirt training in this year, maybe I'll join up.
You and me both! The downside is that by the time we get to the race he'll have that 290 pound Fossa monster finished and smoke the both of us. Those pictures are awesome. I'd have that last one blown up to poster size and put it over my mantle, and on my christmas cards, and all my t-shirts.....

what's involved in getting in that race anyways? Have you done anything crazy to your bike performance to get ready for it?

... [sigh] ... Oi Blood, didn't your mother ever tell you that nobody likes a smart ar$e ...

OK, what I should have said it that she, Florence, that's to say the 80 GS, was on her holidays with a mate of mine on South Island, and it was my mate who took the picture.

I, on the other hand, am currently in Perth in Western Australia, definitely not on holiday and the only motorcycle I have access to is a decidedly broken R65.

That said, I do have access to a couple of 300mm lenses ...

From where I'm sitting the only thing NOT to love is the distance between us, but as they say "absence makes the fart go Honda" ... or something like that anyway.

If Swanbourne is close enough to Cottesloe for you, have a click here for live beach cams & kite surfing forcast ... it should complete the nostalgia trip

Perth aka Perv can be a shocker of a place to live in the summer months

Have a good 'un

John
