Depends where you are coming from.

Check out this map and the powerline is the straight line running north west to south east, before it heads south towards Collie.
There is also anothe power line that runs west to east closer to Gt Eastern H'way.

Rightyo, I'm sure that's the one I've had a look at. I seem to remember one of the Corporations has a sign ther saying you weren't allowed on it so I moved on.

I'm guessing its a quick turn into it and off then.

As far as I know, the power lines are fine as long as your bike is registered.

If your bike is registered you are allowed to ride it on gazetted rds, the powerlines are not a road, and as such you aren't supposed to ride along them, however when we were along them on Sunday there were other 4wd on it and people out cutting wood.

It seems that so long as you are not around the Pickering Brook/ Ashendon rds intersection with all the unregistered idiots they will leave you alone. The rangers / calm/water board/ western power do police that area.

I think that the best place to jon the powerlines is off Brookton Hwy if you want to head south, to the north the track can get a bit rough as it gets more traffic. There are a lot of side tracks that run off the powerlines that are gazzetted rds( you could always plead ignorance if you're stopped)

No matter what, on a bike you're going to outrun any car/4wd.
