44'x52' garage, front half is concrete floor, the back half is hardwood, came on a nice 100x108' village lot. Hoping to get the keys tomorrow

Oh man that has potential. What is behind that window up there, a place to live?

Very cool!

The wife an I just looked at a place like this out in the Texas hill country! The Barn on the property is in better shape than the house. Our plan is to rebuild / seal up the barn, live in it for a couple of years, tear down the house for materials for other things while we rebuild the bank account to build the new house. The two best things about this is, My wife proposed the plan and after the house gets built, the barn is mine!!!!!!

Have a great time with the property!

Well...I finally finished my Northern Tool bandsaw / Harbor Freight cart combination. When I was first using the saw to cut the angle iron and square tubing the blade/gear box kept binding. I had to take the drive pulley off three times to get the saw unbound. What a pain, knock on wood the saw has stopped unbinding, but I may have to do something with the gearbox. We'll see.

Here are the pics:

Looks like a nice setup;...I've had a 4x6 version from the traveling tool company (bought it at a Holiday Inn 16 years ago) and have only recently had problems with it; have used it enough to go through 35 or so blades. Whatever is hanging up the gearbox is probably something easy to fix.

We have four kids so the Barn will have to be built out and finished but that is okay At least the kids will get to answer that infamous question, "why yes I did live in a barn".

We will see just waiting on a phone call sometime in the next couple of days for a potential new gig that has taken multiple rounds of interviewing for. If it goes through then we are going to grab the property! And then the Finish out rebuild madness starts! But hell for 4 acres, a barn and a old soon to be torn down house out in the country, it will be SO WORTH IT!!!!

So yes I am hopefully going to be a Bastage I have not been called that in awhile and was beginning to feel depressed. Thank you sir!

It's a second floor attic space at the moment. There's no water, sewer, or gas running to the building. It used to be a lumber yard building until the 1970's. I am going to rent out most of the space and store some of my bigger items there to free up some garage and shop space. I built a 32x26' garage 2 years ago and it's full already.
