My new lift came in today

HANDY S.A.M. 1000 complete with drop out rear plate and cycle vise and it is the 84" long table.

B-King likes it!

I purchased it from here and i can't say enough good about the transaction with them. Very helpful and nice people. The lift was in stock.

Package deal included shipping if you picked it up at the freight company. All I took was a 5x10 trailer with the gate off the back and it slid right in. They charge another $90 bucks for lift gate delivery to your house.

I worked in a Honda shop when I was 15 setting these things up new out of the crate and I love the early 70's bikes. All of them.

I had this DREAM of lining-up neatly 1 of each color 1969 CB750's and decided to go for it. These were built starting with bare frames with parts from all-over the world. And they were correct in the original details. The red one had original paint on all bodywork, the blue-green had only nos bodywork and parts. The gold was a one-off clone of the pre-production prototype (no such animal as a production candy gold sandcast, especially w/ sunny gold tank stripes and badges) which I threw together just to bug CB750 restoration anal-types.

Any story behind the flag? We have an old one as well because you can't just throw em out. It was from the college years so 20 years old or so.
Looks to be in about the same condition.
My Dad was a WW II vet and proudly hung this flag on our flagpole at every oppurtunity for many years. Its worn, he's gone, I'm keeping it.

I once had a similar dream- one of each XL 250 and 350 from '72 to '78.

This was a close as I got.

There are a few that werent in the picture- had already sold 5 or 6 of them. At one point I had a '72, '75, and '76 250 and a '74, '75, and '78 350 along with the 175, the CR, the MT, and an MR, TL, and probably a couple others I'm leaving out. Times change, jobs change, storage space changes. Need to take another picture of the ones I've got left and a few I've managed to add back in.

/hijack off- Got a new toy set up in the school man-castle. Been playing with it and another toy thats supposed to be in my shop but for some reason is currently sitting in the wood shop. I'll take some pics, planning on going back in tomorrow. Its fun to screw around in the shop when there arent and stinkin kids there.

I built this garage just after hurricane Ivan, went way out of budget due to labor going through the roof.

It has 1,200 sf of heated and cooled space downstairs and a loft also heated and cooled which has about 700 sf. This was pre BMW, it now houses my truck an R1200Rt and a Vstrom 650. I rarely post, hope this works.

Outside...

I could not get all three pics to post on a single page, hope I did not breach protocol...I think I have one other post. However, since my dealer is 4 hours from me one way, I am sure I will be posting more since I plan on doing (attempting) to do all the work myself.

Regards,

RM

You're going to love it - I've had mine for 35 years and I am rebuilding it this year with a 7 inch riser and a nice Hoffman precision tilt table.

Nice!!! I luv my TIG. Haven't used it for anything "exotic" yet, but it sure works great on steel and aluminum.
