My poor little shed. This was while I was replacing the front and rear sprockets, chain and rear tire on my little 1994 GS500.

What ever works

That is good at least you have some room to move around and you can keep dry while you work on it.

What kind of mill is that in the corner? It looks like the perfect size. I have been looking for one for a while now.

Have fitted a DRO to the mill since this photo. The mill is OK, would have liked something a little more solid and faster speed but as you can see I am very limited by head height.

Love the lathe - better than some of the exensive leading brand lathes that I have used in the past - perhaps the difference is that I am the only person that uses these machines, and look after them.

Current shed / building

Planned

More of an extension to the current building than anything else. Its a very well built 8 x 10 foot shed that i'm extending out to 8 x 20. Need the room for a project guzzi v50 i have waiting in the wings Bought the original based on a shed my dad has, still in excellent condition after 30+ years of abuse, I See no reason to change the whole building so i'm just getting the original supplier to extend it.

I have to do all of the work on the base tho, that involves doing one 8 x 10 base and moving one shed on (to it to provide room for the extension) then casting a 8 x 20 block and moving the existing shed onto it minus it's back wall, ready for the extension to be fitted the day after. Should come in under 1000 for the materials and building, electrics / tidying up the garden afterwards are a different matter.

Currently gathering materials for the new concrete base. Got two tons of stone to move tomorrow , it is free tho

Beer advertisement

The photobucket tool that blurs the photo (which I think is kinda cool) does that, unfortunately.
