Yep , sorry it's a 3AJ. But i'm building another one. Finished the engine, but nows the problem - dont have enough space to build the bike.
All the bits are in my roof space. I've been smuggling it in over the past 12 months in bits. Missus caught me, but I bullshitted that it was spares. "who needs a spare frame" she said. Once she finds out what I'm up to - she'll want to get rid of the transalp and get a new tenere 660. Damn!!

yup! Been working for a few months in Ft. Worth.

I rented an office warehouse. Tire changing spot for passing FFs!

Should move in some time next week, getting power and interwebs hooked up, and all that good crap.

Should start setting it up middle of Dec.

Instead of standard chairs in mine, I'm looking at getting a pair of bucket seats and mounting them on chrome/ aluminum rims.

Anyone ever seen/ done that?

I guess my DC-4 pilot seats would qualify as "drinking seats"!! I am making each arm rest with an inverted piston milled out to hold drinks and a small can of nuts. Where's the check list?

To make full use of the recline function without going ass over kite you'll need a base that extends a little further back than the wheel rim. DAMHIK

A good bucket seat is hugely comfortable for lounging in, my girlfriend put a couple on wooden bases for some cheap & cheerful furniture in her first flat, we're still using them 10 years later

If you change your decor you can just head down to the local auto accessories store & spend $20 on some new seat covers to suit
