Thanks,

the silver bike is my 1980 GS750e. I was just doing a little winter maintenance on it. Valve adjustment, stripped and rebuilt the carbs, new boots too. I am very fond of my old 750.

^Beauty!
Mine was a black /orange stripe GS750E with a V&H exhaust, too (and stock air box - pods made them run awful).
A favorite - rode it more miles than any bike before or since.

Thanks HH, yeah pods are not a good idea imo. A buddy of mine had the black and orange 750...beautiful.

^^^ that silver 750 reminds me of the first big trip I took, it was 1981, I was 24 years old, my friend bought one of those brand new (maroon color I seem to recall) and 3 days later we left Atlanta GA, destination Pacific Ocean. 6 weeks later we returned home. That 750 never missed a beat.

Cool story. That's the beauty of these old bikes, it reminds me of my youth but it is very cool, the amount of guys that come up to me and say..."I had an uncle..." My dad used to..." "I had one just like it and...."

Speaking of not missing a beat...last summer my cousin and his wife flew out from Ontario and along with my wife the four of us loaded up my two old Suzukis and rode them acroos the province to Banff AB. and back. 2400kms in all, with 35c days....never missed a beat!!. My cousin got me into bikes and I had not rode with him 30 years. Here is the morning we took off...

Well thank you Duc, I'm glad you enjoyed the pics. There is a lot more. Lol...I know what you are saying about seeing the old bikes compared to new ones. My BMW is the first new bike I have owned in 30 years! I never thought I would buy a new bike again but then I saw this k1300r. Love at first sight. But nothing will ever replace the feeling I get riding my classic Suzukis!

Moved into this place last summer and my little area is coming around. Few projects that you can see in the pics: XT225 re-build and a Honda Express being converted to a kick start.

I am looking to do about the exact same size building once it warms up around here. I need to do some site leveling and build a retaining wall first.
