I have them too. Makes it easier to work on a cold dirty floor.

I ahd an orange shag rug on my carport drive when I was in Hawaii because the asphalt was mixed with corrall and lava rock and it would cut you if you laid on it working on a anything. the rug worked real well cause the carport on on a slight up grade and after working on something I couold wash the oprange shage clean again, and it would drain dry. great for carport parties after working on the bike or jeep.

I have spilt oil, petrol etc. on these floors and just cleaned them with a normal detergent and they are holding up fine. If I do damage a tile though, I can just replace it. ( I ordered an extra square metre as spares )

Here is my entry, not much, but it's mine.

I added a door in the end to make it easy to get the bike in:

Looking through the above mentioned door:

Just an idea

I have been wanting to build a motorcycle specific garage for some time now.

It would have:

A 5' overhead door on either end that could be opened by a switch on the bike.

An outside covered work area

Lots of doors and windows to let the light and fresh air in.

Fireplace and TV for the winter to watch football games on days I can't ride.

A long, built in, work bench.

Oh yea... a beer fridge of course.

This is what I'm thinking...

Looks good - I like the table outside for socialising and bike chat.
