WTB a KTM rear wheel for a late model 300. I want to have a spare to keep a trials tire mounted up. Decent shape (round) preferred. Looking for one with a disk, but sprocket not important. Color doesn't matter.
Thanks!

Acerbis tank, stock tank included, FMF Titanium exhaust, Renthal handlebars and grips, wide footpegs and some beat-up bags. Recently rescued from TX, lovingly beat up and, by way of apology, lovingly maintained by previous owner.
Check your PM's, I'd like to take a look at this.

Want to Buy: Chick bike!

Want to Buy: Chick Bike!

My wife took her MSF class a few years ago and got her license, and I set up a lowered DRZ400e for her to teach her how to ride dirt and dual-sport. It was just too much bike for her and it turned her off of riding a bit, but now she wants to give it another try...

Looking for a good starter chick bike dual sport! E-start, relatively light, not too much power, street legal or convertible to street legal, not too tall, etc. Prefer something in very good/excellent shape.

Anybody have anything they'd like to sell?

I thought you were going to recommend a DR350 . We had one on our ride yesterday and were left waiting. You know how slow they can be .

I was going to add that Helen started on a DR350 and while she liked it her confidence leaped once she got her TTR225.

DR650 cables

I was ordering parts for the DR350 and somehow ended up with DR650 parts. Probably my fault.

Anyway, I have a brand new, OEM, in sealed bag, clutch and throttle cable for a 90-91 DR650S. Anyone need these? The clutch cable (58200-14A00) cost me 13.75. I'd like $10 for it. The throttle (58300-12D00) cost me $18.22. I'd like to get $15. If you buy both I'll pay shipping in the US if you don't want to drive to Woodland Park.

Big fan of the CRF230, if she's tall enough, or the TTR125L if not. Relative to others in the class, both have good manners and are relatively light.

From what I've seen, the worst logic you can use is "she'll grow into it"- start with something that is totally comfortable, even if she'll outgrow it quickly, and let her move up rapidly. If you're buying used, it won't cost much to do a bunch of rapid swaps until you find the "just right" bike.

Definitely made that mistake, along with the "Get a bike I might like riding as well..." error.

Then you would use the "Honey it ain't running right ! Let me take it away for a few days and tune it just for you". That could and would be an on going thing I'm sure .

The price is $3,250. Located in Littleton, CO near Tipsy's Liquor.

14,300 miles. I am the original owner and most of the miles are highway miles as I used this to commute to work.

It is not a beauty queen as it has been dropped several times. The only damage was bent stock handlebars which were worthless and scratches on the top of the front fender.

Farkles:
Corbin Seat
IMS 4.9 gallon tank
Pro Moto Billet rear rack
Dirt Bagz Ranger size
Moose Handguards
Utah skid plate
1" risers and Renthal Fatbars
Aluminum rear brake cylinder guard
14 tooth front sprocket (down one tooth)
Ball bearing chain rollers
Mirror extensions so you aren't looking at your elbows
Shinko 705 front tire 95% tread
D606 rear 40% tread
Stock suspension

I had a maintenance plan from the dealer for the first 3 years during which most of the miles were put on this bike. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles or less and the valves were checked 1,000 miles ago and did not need to be adjusted.

I'd prefer not to part anything out at this moment.

Comes with original parts if desired, spare oil filters, inner tubes, and possibly a new rear tire if the price is right.

Thanks for looking,

Rob
