Didn't realize inflation was that steep, that's $69 in today's money o_O

Just out of curiosity, how much does motor work like that cost? I'd be interested in doing something similar to my 525.

too much But it's worth it.

Cost me right close to $3K for everything on the motor but if you had the trans and just wanted the 570 kit it'd be about $2700. a 540 is much cheaper and damn near a potent though.

Also since then I've learned a bit more about the RFS and I would do everything but the machine work myself so I could do one for about $1500-$2k that's parts and sending the carb and Head out for the other work.

Anyone have a stock silencer for a Honda CRF250X, or better yet the diffuser that goes inside silencer that they would be willing to part with cheaply? I need to quiet the bike down and don't want to spend $300+ on an after market pipe. I may have some riding gear or odd ball parts to trade. Thanks in advance Steve.

Gauging interest on my Corbin for a 96-Current DR650 w/stock tank. Got this with my DR, IIRC the front bracket has been removed to avoid bending/beating up the tank bracket. Good shape, very comfy, I'm just looking to go with the IMS tank in the near future so I'll probably refoam/recover my stocker with the Seat Concepts Kit. As it comes from Corbin it doesn't have the brackets (you reuse your stock ones, I need to keep mine for my stock seat) so keep that in mind, you'll need a stock seat or a spare set of brackets.

I can get pics if anyone's interested, it's located in Fort Collins but I'm in Longmont most weekdays for work. $379 from Corbin, $369 from Procycle, I'd like to see $250 OBO out of it. PM or post if interested, thanks,

Geoff
Price drop - $225 for local inmates, I really don't feel like shipping this.

I have an 00 KLR 650 whose rear shock/spring is shot according to folks riding behind me watching my bikes tail end flop around. New it appears to be 800 bucks , so I wondering if any folks locally might have a spare one lying around for sale or know of go0d places to get ones.

What I want and what I can afford are 2 different things
I cannot afford to drop 500+ on a new setup hence the having to go with a replacement or rebuild for now. In a few months, I can afford a new shock, but not now.

Rick is a good guy. While passing through Ashville on my Bandit he sold me a sprocket and chain and let me install them in his garage.
