I emailed them to ask what the I.D. Would be and found out the bars are solid. So looks like I would have to have the bar turned down in a lathe and a hollow section added to the end to make it work. Got a lathe?

I may try that.
Will take some specs on drilling and tapping, hollowing etc and see what will work. I've put 20k on the R1 and just want to raise the bars an extra inch or so.

So I bought my 690 and it came with this obviously modded/customized seat. A bit tall for me and Im thinking I'm eventually going with a Seat Concepts or Guts racing. Thus, this seat is available for trade-for another 690 seat with Guts or Seat Concepts foam (shorter). PM me if interested.
