Or just replace 'em with LEDs and be done with it.

So I need a left rear turn signal assembly, including the wires, for a 1998 DR350SE. Anyone have anything lying around?
I would go with the LEDS or better still the kit and kabbodle from Paul at HDB but if you want the OEM thing then I believe I have the complete rear fender and indicators of a 98 laying around my garage .

But I am not going be home for a wee bit yet!

They are absolutely useless to me as I use them once and they stay on until I get where I'm going or break them off on a tree or rock.

Great ideas one and all! I think I will see what I can find for a replacement socket - I don't know why that never dawned on me!!!!! I do have to go see Anti next week for some new handguards so if I can't rebuild them myself I may get a set rear turn signals from him. I also think I might change out the fronts for Anti's handguard integrated ones, those look very cool.

SB - if I can't get anything else to work, maybe you will be back by then and I can reuse your old parts! Thanks!

It's a dirt-bike and not street-legal (but you can make it street-legal by purchasing an aftermarket kit for lic plate holder, lights, etc.)

Here are the specs for the 2004 KLX:

I try not to make a habit of critiquing ads, but I just sold a 2005 DRZ for $3400. Mine was fully accessorized and plated. While his bike is low miles, it isn't plated, doesn't have much in the way of accessories. Any potential buyer will be looking at all the additions he will need to make, in addition to plating the bike.

Personally, I don't think the asking price is significantly below MSRP. As soon as the new owner rides it for a season they will have a $3k on their hands. IMO, I think a reasonable starting point would be $1k below what he's asking.

Is that even the right picture for that KLX 400? The one shown has all the street legal stuff on it, plate mount, reflectors, turn siganls.

It also has 8 yr old tires on it. Maybe not a big deal for dirt bikes, but old tires should definitely be avoided on the street.

Moose Rear Fender Pack

I have a new (never mounted) Moose removable Rear Fender Pack, all hardware included. Got it for Xmas and had already ordered a Dirt Bike Gear bag. It's ideal for a slightly larger DS bike, big enough to carry tools and a tube.

Here's the link to it on RM website

$30 shipped in the Rockies region, $25 if you pick it up

Prefer paypal.

Thanks

Will it fit on an XRR rear fender (given that the XRR has a tail light on the fender top)?

Doesn't work like that. If you read the Flea Market rules, all postings must contain a price. No "what's it worth" or "make me an offer".
