Wanting to buy

So I just finished my MSF course and I now require a cheap small dualsport for my first bike. I'm in Boulder so if anyone near here is looking to sell something cheap let me know. Hoping to spend less than 2k, hoping to buy something that runs too.

I'll trade ya for on '04 950 that has experience, as well as an '08 530 with experience as well. And to sweeten the deal, I'll even throw in a BLT sammitch, and a dozen coors light bottlecaps.

Check out the Cagiva on the page before this one. That Elefant is pretty cool.

Don't think the Elephant is really a small duel sport.

Compared to a KTM 950 or a BMW R12, the SIX-FIFTY Elefant sure is tiny.
The 750 Elefant or 900 Elefant are closer to the aforementioned pig-bikes.
The 650 Elefant is sort of like a KLR650, but with a Desmodromic v-twin and a LOT less vibration.

Having recently been through the same process, I would like to suggest that whatever bike you choose...make sure it has an electric start. The best deals are on kick start, and I found out why.

Funny you should say this as I'm looking at an xt350, which is kick start only. I did start it on my second kick in flip flops though. It also being the only bike I've had the um, pleasure, of kick starting. Now that you've mentioned it though, I thought about the inevitable noob-terror i'll experience when i kill the bike in traffic.
