Chris, have you tried calling any of the local shops? I know for a fact that www.Fastbecks.com has old tires all the time. You should just make a few local calls, may be just what your looking for but ask for service or go to the mechanic.

Wheel

I'm looking for a cheap, spoked, front dirt wheel, with or without tire, with or without rotor(s). Prefer with tire. 18-21". It's for a motorcycle trailer I am starting to build.

Let me know what you have and how much!

Thanks!

Thanks Ateam, I will try that.

Thought that shops stopped selling used tires due to tort lawyers.

I may have a front rim in my garage... might have tossed it too. Just the rim, and it's taco'd a little, but I bet you could spoon an old tire on there.... if you don't need the spokes/hub...

I need the spokes/hub, too. If it works, I'll continue to use it on the trailer. But for now I need it for measurements, etc. It's the first step!

Thanks, though, I appreciate it.

I have a mid 80's ('85 I think) Honda CR250 21" wheel and maybe an old knobby to throw in. Free for the taking. PM me.

I've got a tilt-a-rack I can part with. I posted it here in the FM a while back. I loved it, but ended up getting a 3 rail after I sold my last enduro bike and the 950 is too heavy for it. I loved not having to remember to pack up the rack, or find it when it was time to go home. Make me an offer.

Somebody find me a larger tank than the 3.5 gallons I have on my 1997 Honda XR 250. My last ride I needed way more range.

2008 KTM EXC-R in Durango

Helping out a friend;

Hello, my name is John. A few years ago I wanted to regain my youth and was convinced that a 2008 KTM 530 EXC-R (with the better made euro-rotax) was the way to go if i wanted to hang with the cool kids. I bought it, upgraded the seat, added a larger tank, and a cool carbon fiber skid plate. It has 271 miles spread over 10.9 hours of use. I used it to chase sheep on the Navajo Nation and only took it a couple times up into the mountains. If you are familiar with these bikes, you need to know what you are doing, especially in the mountains, or pay for angering the KTM Gods! I have gone over the bars twice but the bike only has some minor scrapes on the hand guards and bar ends and the bars/levers are not bent. Now, before any of you poo-poo my wanting to get rid of such a sweet bike, my GS1150, & Triumph cafe get the lions share of my riding time and there is a CB cafe project and a Ural in the shop needing attention. As was once said, "A man has to know his limitations". Mine is in the wallet that is needing to be spread over my shop full of projects. I simply don't ride this bike enough and it deserves a home where it will be fully utilized. It is currently plated/licensed in Colorado and I just got the title from my bank. Since it is in like new condition, I'm asking $6400 obo. Money talks (in person) and I am not hooked up to anything but my cell phone, so no emails or texts. I won't respond to them. Bike is located in Mancos, CO. No trades, unless you have a running Vincent or Triumph, then I might consider it. I'd rather be doing the Ton than the Divide! Thanks!

John - 970799244Five
