When you say "big" for the tank bag, how big are we talking?

I am in the Springs and interested if it isn't huge!

I,ve carried everthing needed for a four day trip in it apart from the tent and bead roll but it is expandable and fits nicely on a klr.

Bump: I traded the chain saw for an old portaband.... I've two jobsite compressors and only need one. Open to useful tool/moto trades too.........

Used Hitachi Koki EC12 4 gallon air compressor - $120, I've changed the oil fairly recently and added two ports to plug into. One of the gauges is missing it's glass.

How can it be fun if there's not at least an outside chance of dying?

OK, that was quick. My hope had been that I could swap from a somewhat expensive Superduke, to a pretty cheap VFR that I just bought from a friend.

But my first ride on the VFR proved that I remain an idiot, unable to restrain my right wrist when using clip-ons. I'm not sure why the SD doesn't make me misbehave, but I really don't (much)... whereas the VFR had me going 75 in the first 2 blocks.

So, the VFR is for sale, and the Superduke is not. The VFR is technically titled in my dealership's name, but my conscious is clean that it isn't a vendor sale since I bought it for myself. But that does mean you get a temp tag/ sales tax/ etc.

Anyway, a 1998 VFR with about 36k miles, cosmetic lowside damage on the left (happened about 20k miles ago), fresh service/ recent tires. Also have givi luggage (E460s and wingrack) if you're interested.

Runs great, just did an oil change/ new battery, fresh michelin pilot power front, pilot road rear, needs nothing for a roadtrip.

Good side:

Bad side:

Not sure what a fair price is, but my interest is selling it sooner rather than for more, so if you're interested, PM me and let's talk.

Helping a friend sell two more bikes...

No pictures yet, just a heads up if you are interested.
  • 2006 KTM 450 EXC (sorted/titled/goodies/very low use)
  • 2006 Honda CRF250X. Two rides, minor plastic rash.

Pic's and details soon, but if you are looking one of these, shoot me a PM and I'll make sure you get to see them early.

Highway Creations seat pad. Thick fur with beaded under mat. This is a cruiser pad for the rear seat but it is perfect for the front seat too. 15"x12" and about 1" thick. Used for one ride and decided it was just a band aid for my horrible seat and added to my back pain.

Paid around $100 IIRC, will take $60.

Seems their website is MIA!
